Role of biotechnology in Indian oilseed productivity

Dr V S Bhatia has more than 30 years of experience in agricultural science. He started as a scientist at the ICAR-IIPR in 1985 and has since moved to be the director ofICAR-IISR in 2015. Dr Bhatia has carried out several studies on soyabeans and published numerous papers, for which hereceived the Sirohi Award for Best Published Paper in the Indian Journal of Plant Physiology.
